Aunt Kimmie comes over twice a week to babysit Bella while Tracy goes to the gym. She and Bella have a lot of fun together.

Happy (belated) Independence Day

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. Bella was very patriotic but didn't stay up late enough for fireworks. Luckily, they didn't wake her up either. BTW, her shirt says "I love the USA".

Bella is now sprouting a 7th tooth and is walking all over the house. She's also pointing at just about everything, as you can see by this picture of her and Grandpa.

Bella's Birthday Party

Bella's first birthday party was last Saturday. We had a ton of family and friends over to the house to celebrate. Bella had a great time at the party. She enjoyed opening presents and eating ice cream but wasn't a fan of her cake. Bella even got a pony for her birthday, which Dad had to put together right away. We let her stay up late - all the way until 9 pm:) The party wore her out and she slept past 9 the next morning. She usually wakes up around 7:30 or so. Hmmm, maybe we should have a party every weekend...

She's walking

Bella has been learning how to walk the past couple of weeks. It's really improved especially just in the past few days and she's getting more coordinated each day.

A visit from Uncle Chris

Uncle Chris can't make Bella's birthday party next weekend so he came in this weekend to spend the afternoon with us. At first Bella was scared of him and cried a lot. But eventually she warmed up to him and had fun playing with him.
